We are home!

Here is Aiden sleeping sweetly in his crib at HOME! Yippee! We are thrilled to have him here with us. We were able to get him from the NICU around lunchtime today. He has spent the afternoon sleeping sweetly despite the noise of his older sister. The nurses shared with us that too much quiet actually might cause him not to sleep as he is used to monitors beeping, music playing, babies crying and nurses talking. Please continue to pray for Anna as she adjusts to having a younger sibling. She has had a day filled with excitement finally being able to see Aiden but also a hard day filled with many tears. Pray too that Aiden would eat well as he has only eaten once since being home but hopefully will be waking soon for another feed. We want our little man to gain some weight!

My morning prayers were for all of you. Can't wait to hear how the first night home went.

Amy, I am praying for sweet Anna. What a tough age anyway and bringing a baby home just adds to the frustration for her. All normal, but tough. I will not forget to pray for her.

How great is our God! We are so happy for you all, and we have faith that God will give Aiden the desire to eat well, and he will grow stronger every minute. Anna will be a wonderful big sissy, it will just take a little while to figure out what is going on in this changing world (I think we all have to constantly adjust to that, no matter what age!) I hope your night went well, he is absolutely beautiful! -Ashley and Joe (and Bronwyn & Hudson)

Hallelujah!

Our day was hectic yesterday and we intended to call all day, only to discover this morning that our prayers had been answered! Now we just have to pray toward fattening him up a bit!
